Maytag Dishwasher slowly fills with water while off (not running).

The dishwasher appears to be slowly filling with water after a cycle is completed (and full drained).  Takes about a week and then it starts to leak water out the front due to the basin being full and overflowing.

Putting the machine in DRAIN mode clears the basin fully, so I know it drains properly.

I am thinking the water valve has a slow leak, letting water enter the machine even while off.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

This should fix the problem

Like a dripping faucet that water valve will leak. I agree with Al.

Thanks.   I will order the part, seems like a straight forward repair, although from the drawings can't tell if this can be done from the lower access panel or will require me to pull the unit out of the counter.

I am assuming the pipes hook up with standard pipe clamps etc.
