Check the vent behind that dryer and have the enetire run cleaned, since you probably don't know the history of maintenance on the property. If the vent is restricted, the motor overheats and the bearings swell up after about 15-20minutes. The damage is done, you'll also need a new motor. (Do not attempt to oil it, they are not made for this despite what some jack-legs might say)
The motor for your model is shown below, and be sure to have the vent cleaned and if there is foil or plastic duct behind the dryer, as you will ruin a new motor in short order if it is wrong. Use only semi-rigid venting or the new
periscope vents for closer installations. You'll find the Maytag dryer manuals in the head of this forum for your convenience.
