Also note that it is the same idea as the automobile junkyard. Everyone buys USED PARTS TO SAVE MONEY WHEREVER they can.

I don't blame you for trying to justify your existence, but buying used appliance parts is a gamble at best.  Atlantis motors has issues to begin with, so there's a damn good reason they ended up in the junyard. No doubt you and Fred Sanford make a good living scrapping what you can :)

If you really want to recycle things, take those motors to the scrap dealer and get paid so they can be melted back down and used to make new stuff. If old parts were worth re-selling, don't you think Sears and all the other greedy bastids would be doing it too?


There is a big difference between recycling and re-selling. Ebay is full of examples

A used appliance these days is way better than the new Mexitronic assed Chinese gadgetry with mandarin directions and Hong Kong prices. Washaman I like the way you think. A man after my own heart.

Nope, wrong like your OPINIONATED OPINIONS. Guess again? And all yhe used motors/parts that I have sold have been on WORKING washers and Dryers.
