My old do-it-yourself wiring book is rather dated.  A new wiring book would be nice.  I need to add an outlet near my sprinkler system clock.

Steve
PS not sure if it will help my problem with my Korean microwave.

who makes E-Wave? or who made it?

Thanks for the chance to win the wiring book - sure looks like a nice one!
No matter how much electrical knowledge one may possess, this book could increase
that knowledge. Especially, if one wants to keep up with the latest code requirements
for residential.         Thanks again, GG

The lights flicker on and off in half of my house, it has old aluminum wiring. I would like to fix it myself because i cannot afford an electrician and this book would certainly help :) Thanks!

I had to buy an old mobile home from an oilfield roustabout wanting to make a 'killing' (literally).  His DIY electical repairs are only a tad better than his DIY plumbing repairs.  The first thing I had to learn the hard way was that the aluminum BX armored wiring 'acquired' from an oil rig requires special connectors, i.e., Cop-Alum (or just plain black electrical tape), to connect to the copper wires on the new electric water heater! Burning electircal wires have a distinctive smell, don't you know.  Different issue In the same week, a breaker in this guys' 'new-to-this-trailer' breaker box that he installed popped.  Good right?  Vote still out.  Tripped the breaker 15 minutes after I plugged a fairly new vacuum cleaner in but hadn't turned on yet.  Trying to figure out the circuits ... .. 18 to 21 switches, outlets, etc. (still a mystery) on one circuit but only 4 on the circuit that I plugged the vacuum cleaner into (the microwave was not in use). Lost 2 power supplies, a harddrive and a one motherboard on a different and what I thought was my best circuit.  For 3 months, I've had all the parts incluidng a circuit tester to repair an outside outlet in a box by the door but still too chicken to try without supervision.

Please, I really do need this book! I'm getting better at rebuilding my computers but Internet is sporadic, my repair book was published about the same time this trailer was built, and I think all of my friends' husbands are avoiding me.
