Hooked-up a GE JBP66SMSS electric range on Monday.
Everything appeared to work fine initially. Then tried baking something on Tuesday... oven took 30 minutes to preheat to 350 degrees... and the temperature must not have been truly 350, because the food was not cooked like it should have been.
Today, tried to use the stovetop... when turning on one of the radiant burners, it did NOT glow red. It warmed up VERY gradually (I could still touch the burner after 10 seconds had elapsed). When initially connecting the range, the burners would glow red and immediately heat-up.
I also noticed that neither the bake element, nor the broil element glow red at all when the oven is turned on.
Any ideas?
