Are you installing the C-clamp AND the horseshoe clamp? If you are omitting the c-clamp that might be the probo.

Each time i have fitted a blower i have fitted it with a circlip i think that what you mean by horseshoe, im not sure what you mean by clamp I have never been to to fit one where would that go at the front of the blower?

To secure the blower onto the motor shaft they use a compression C-clamp that goes on first. Then a horseshoe shaped clamp called a snap ring is installed onto the shaft itself to prevent the clamp from sliding off in the event the plastic gets loose (which we all know it does). You must use snap ring pliers to install this part.

I really do appreciate your help and I dont want to put you to to much trouble, but would it be possible for you to find the part numbers for me. Its not easy finding info here in the uk on Admiral.

Wow thanks I have never been told to put a clamp on they have only ever given me to clips I was puting 1 at the front and 1 behind I knew there was to much space making the wheel uneven the clamp looks like it will do the job. Does the clamp go on the front after the wheel?

Yup, the clamp keeps the wheel from wobbling.That clamp will fall off and the greenhorn DIYer won't realize what it is fer. I bet yers is up in the dryer in a corner somewheres.
