BOSCH HMV9305 - 300 Series Over-The-Range Bosch Microwave not working

Our microwave recently went dead. It appears that there is no power going through the unit. This first happened when the unit was about 18 months old, and at that time the repair man said it was a faulty control board which he replaced, charging me about $350. Now another 18 months has passed and it appears that the same thing has happened. Any ideas?

First check the outlet for 120VAC, and the proper polarity. You can do this with a very inexpensive outlet tester. If this is OK, then the board mey be damaged. You really should back up your expensive electronics with surge protection. Post your results. Are you seeing a display at all?
