Service Jennair C316 electrical outlets while still installed?

I have a Jennair C316 electric cooktop range which is on the counter and I was wondering if it's possible to service the electrical outlets for the burners while the cooktop is still installed into the counter. I'm trying to remove the top metal plate so that I can get access to the electrical outlets but I'm having a really difficult time doing so.

So, do I have to remove the entire cooktop from the counter in order to work on it? I really don't want to have to do that as it's connected to the blower which makes installation more tricky and difficult.

The whole unit does not necessarily have to be  un-installed to do this repair.

The top does come off after removing a hunnerd screws or so. If I were you, I would order and have on  hand the terminal block repair kits before I did any tearing down.  Once the top  is off you can remove both ceramic RECEPTACLES and replace the terminals in them from the kit. To remove the main top, there are 4 screws in each cartridge bay plus 4 more inside the downdraft intake. The control pad  has 2 screws holding it  down in back. You should be able to lift the main top off and leave the control panel attached, just turn it so it can pass thru the opening. Be sure to turn off the breakers before you fiddle in there.

I was thinking the design is modular and you can yank out the whole module to repair it.What are there 3 modules to this unit. The idea being to remove the griddle and replace it with a regular  double eye. Once the modules are removed you should be able to take a look at the ceramics. Been a while since i worked on em but my custs used to just bring the individual modules to me for repair. I may be wrong. have been before.

The gent is talking about the receptacles built into the main body of the downdraft, not the removable cartridges.
