Washer runs, sometimes stops, has water inside and clothes don't get spun

We've had this LG WM2277HW washer for about 5 years, has done us well.

Over the last couple months we would see a error message (I think it's IE) but more often it runs really long.

Sometimes the timer doesn't advance.  Sometimes we have found it stopped full of water and no spin action.

I haven't stood next to it for a while to hear if it drains, but you used to be able to hear it pumping out easily if in the same room during that process.

What could I look into?

IE is a Water Inlet Error

(if not enough water, machine won't continue ...)

"Correct water level (246) is not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied or it does not reach the preset water level within 25 minutes."

Check the sediment screen filters in your Water Inlet Valves ...

Remove the hoses and clean the clogged screens from inside the inlet hose water valve and retry.
