Refrigerator will not exit DISPLAY OFF mode (it seems)

Hello everyone,
I just bought  a floor demo LFX23961ST and I can't seem to exit the DISPLAY OFF mode... I cannot set the refrigerator or freezer temperatures. The display shows OFF, no setpoints or actual temperatures. Of course nothing runs. Lamps are working fine!
Buzzer sounds when pressing buttons. Can activate or deactivate every other functions. Not Celsius or Farenheit display.

Anyone have an idea?

Try holding down the temp down key for the refrigerator for 5 seconds.
