Strip in between doors gets extremly hot (more than usual).
Side of fridge gets hot also. Is this normal?
Freezer not freezing food solid.

There are no mullion heaters on this one, Ace... had you bothered to look at the diagram, you'd have known.

I would guess the compressor is running longer then normal and that is why they get hotter then normal.

The sealed system is not able to alleviate the superheat picked up during the refrigeration process. This could mean :

1. Low charge
2. Restriction
3. Condenser motor not up to speed
4. Bad reed valves in compressor (inefficient compressor)

Just my first thoughts. Probably needs a tap valve installed to check out the pressures.

If they ain't no mullions then what is causing the heat transference?
And what would cleaning the coils have anything to do with this? hell i can learn just like anyone else. i do not have ALL the answers.....YET!
