Neutral Drain Gear
« on: April 01, 2014, 05:42:59 PM »
I have a Whirlpool TAWS700EQ2 machine. The plastic spin gear in the transmission is stripped. The replacement gear (w/metal pinion gear) is rather expensive $60-$70 (AP3094405) and what I am wondering if a more economical kit (neutral drain kit) 388253, which is listed many places on line for $15-$25 range, will this kit my transmission?

While I have purchased a neutral drain kit that came with the spin gear, that is not usually the case. I would check with the vendor first before ordering to make sure the spin gear is in fact included,  if that is all you really need.
