Odd stains appear after going through washer.
« on: March 31, 2014, 11:16:30 PM »
I have a Samsung HE washer/dryer combo model numbers WA5471AB and DV5471A and we are getting odd stains on all kinds of things we wash. Doesn't seem to matter what colour or type of laundry it is but it goes in fine and comes out with a dark/blue/grey blotchy stain on it. We have tried a number of different detergents and fabric softener/no softener. Right now we are using the pods style detergent and still tonight our blanket for our bed set came out with this stain. It does no do it every time but it has happened since pretty much new. The set has been in use for about 1.5 years now and stain many items....One load will be fine and the next could be stained. Also it may be worth mentioning that the dryer allows a large amount of lint into the exhaust and will plug off the vent outside within a half dozens uses or so.  Any suggestions as to where to look for the source of the stain would be appreciated because we have looked through everything we can think of.
