You have a couple of things to look at. The front panel comes off using a putty knife to release the spring clips. You gotta get it off to do the checks. Once you get that front off you can get the top off.Check the lid switch mechanism. It probably is not in the correct position for the strike to hit it just right. Bypass the lidswitch if you can to see if the problem goes away. There are only 2 wires, jump out that sucker. Down below you will see the pump. It is electric. Strings, coins, and small junk clog the impeller. It comes apart pretty easy so get the crap out of it. Don't bother putting any serious money into fixing this machine.
