frigdaire stackable frontloader lights all lights light up no nothing

girlfriends Frigidaire FTFB4000FS1 washer wont wash.. hard boot worked for a while. now same thing. logic tree? troubleshooting ? any help appreciated.

do the lights flash?
first thing to check is to make sure the child lock has not been activated... press and hold options and select button at the same time, hold for about 10 seconds

inside the machine is the mini-manual, it lists test procedures for common problems

is the tub full of water?
if you select drain/spin will the machine do anything?

my girlfriends daughter is with the machine she will be your eyes.

This is the girlfriend's daughter..
I tried holding down the select and options buttons for 10 seconds and the lights flashed when the ten seconds were up. It didn't do anything other than what it usually does (the high, extra spin, cycle signal, wash, rinse, final spin, and a flashing start were all lit when pause/cancel was pressed).

It is not full of water.
Whenever I press spin it will just change to the choices high, medium, low, or no spin. That's all.

what if you turn the cycle knob to the drain/spin cycle and try to start the machine there?

Oh! haha, I didn't see that.
I switched it over to that and I tried to start it. The doorlock and final spin lights where on while the start was flashing. I pressed start and nothing happened?

the number of flashes gives error codes

brntst you are the man!!! I dont care what they say about you and I'm sure youre not the fellow in the video. I'll run diagnostics on the machine with the girl baby tonight and tell you how it goes. Keep fixin the broke stuff and you will never grow old.

Diagnostic test says to expect sequentially chasing, but the lights flash in unison instead of chasing.

logic tree said to replace control board.  $138   took it out, clean out microswitches, its washing again. go figure?

let me make sure i have the correct model, your machine has no display that shows a minute count down correct?

sorry but your ftfB(best buy) was not sold in canada, so i am not familiar with this models options, but if the parts breakdown was right you have no display

ok, page 61 of the manual i posted for you, it tells you how to count flashes of the lights to read the error code

sorry to ask again, but.... is the light beside the control lock symbol lit up?

also has anyone dismantled the drawer or cracked the dispensor drawer recently? the drawer on some earlier models has a magnet inside it that tells the machine the drawer is closed, seen alot of them get lost cause a drawer came apart
