Matag performa washer died

My washer just stopped right before the rinse cycle. I can't get it to start back up anywhere. I'm guessing its electrical, but just wondering if anyone knows where would be a good place to start looking. It does have power to the outlet, and I bypassed the door shutoff and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like a bad timer if you have power from the outlet inside the machine and the lid switch has been verified as good.
Try to disconnect then re-connect the timer wiring harness.

If the timer was bad in one place it would work in another UNLESS the main switch inside it is gone. I would look at the lid switch. It could be something as simple as a broken strike.

check the timer
heres how
disconnect the power
disconnect the timer quick connect
advance the timer to the cycle thats not working put a ohm meter on the timer terminal of the circuit that is not working(get this from the wiring diagram)
if you have continuity then the timer is ok
check the next circuit you'll eventually find the fault.
