1. Unplug the washer, turn the water off and remove the fill hoses from the back of the washer.
2. Remove the agitator.
3. Remove the cabinet.
4. Remove the pump and motor, there are just two clips that hold them on.
5. Title the washer back at about 45 deg. Do not lay it flat on it's back. Lean it on a chair or something.
6. Remove the three bolts from the bottom of the gear case/transmission and the transmission and clutch will slide out the bottom of the washer.
Once you have the transmission out you will see how the old clutch just sits on top with a clip.
When you put things back together make sure you get that little plastic tab in place with the clutch.

The plastic tab will be connected to the brake and not just laying on top the clutch as in the photo, but it helps you see how it should line up.
