Well JW invited me to this thread, but I am a little confused as to the what is going on. The original question on Fixya stated water was dispensing and the ice maker was working, but the ice was not dispensing. This would indicate a problem with the auger motor or the wiring leading to it. I also read a reply about replacing the module which has nothing to do with the dispenser so I hope that information has been dismissed. There is no board associated with the dispenser on that model as it is simply a set of buttons that change the routing of the power to the motor. So as was mentioned, if the freezer door switch is closed, then 120vac should be read between the blue and white wires at the motor when the ice dispenser lever is pressed. If there is no voltage, then it would be time to remove the dispenser cover and check the voltage at the dispenser lever switch. If there is voltage, then the DC outputs from the motor would need to be verified to determine if the motor was the issue or dispenser selector buttons. Playing the odds, I would suspect the inverter board on the motor as failed due to water leaking down the auger coupler shaft, but that would need to be verified with a multimeter. If the customer has access to a multimeter, they will need to run the circuit and verify voltages, or they can just start replacing the associated parts. Hope this helps.
