Cabrio Dryer & Diagnotic Test (Standby)Mode

We're desperately trying to conduct a diagnostic code on the darn dryer, but cannot perform the tests because the instructions are vague about how to put the machine in "Standby Mode".

It specifically says "Be sure the dryer is in standby mode (plugged in with all the indicators off, or with only the Clothes Dry indicator on)." The manual and the machine do not seem to correspond....

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. It turns out that the darn thing needs to be on (with power button) and when all is lit, the "cancel" button needs to be hit. Diagnostics can be run from there. (I mention this cause I figure someone else may need help...).

Truthfully, its my mistake for failing to mention this is a WED6400SW1. Sorry and thank you for the feedback.

I updated elsewhere... I received a code of F30 (restricted airflow), F28 (moisture sensor open) and an F21, which is VERY bizarre. The F21 does not seem to be associated with this unit at all, only Whirlpool washers!

The only error code that seems to be constant is the F30. We've cleared every external source of restriction. The moisture sensor will frequently pass its diagnostics, but this F21?!.... Is it possible that internal airflow will disable the motor?

We'll have to "go in" and confirm that there is nothing blatantly messin' my machine up. Other than avoiding frying ourselves to high heaven, any great words of wisdom or advice?
