Not defrosting.. replaced a few things but I don't know how to continu

On my problem (the original one in the thread), replaced the board, no go replaced the freezer thermistor (which is # 3 on my tests), no go, replaced the evap thermistor (#4), and it worked, put the old board in, it still worked!  Now 3 & 4 both showed a status of P before I replaced them.

I do show #1, and #5 still being bad (status of O).  According to the manual I found 5 should be the freezer (but apparently it isn't).  Can anyone shed some light as to where #1 and #5 are for sure?  I'm assuming they are in the fridge, what harm is caused by not replacing them?

When replacing the board on some models, part of the instructions were to clip a certain harness wire if your unit matched the serial numbers in the instruction sheet. This in effect eliminates the Frz compt thermister from the circuit, leaving only the damper thermister in the FF section and the evap thermister. The new board will not need but 2 of them to operate if yours is in the serial group. Recheck all your instructions and steps....
