Whirlpool Washer

I have a whirlpool model LSR5233AW0 that will not drain/rinse/spin, when it is running in a normal load or permanent press cycle, but runs fine in the delicate cycle. The timer does advance and no pump or motor noise is heard. The lid switch works fine, you can hear the contact when you close the lid and I pressed it in with a screwdriver and you can also hear the contact. The wash runs normal up to the drain/rinse/spin. Any suggestions? Also is the rinse and spin the same for all 3 cycles- normal/perm/delicate? Is the circuit the same?

Sounds like you have a bad timer. Just because the switch clicks doesn't make it good, but it probably is because if wasn,t it would not drain or spin in any load setting.

I found a loose connector on a timer before. Unplug it and check for corrosion , make sure it has a tight connection and retry.
