The most expensive heating element is around 50 bucks. The limit kit is around 30 bucks on any kenmore dryer

The dryer is pretty standard.  I dont know the model number...off hand...but the dryer is about 9 years old.  It was the cheapest dryer.....but like I said...it still tumbles...but no heat... :(

Who does? That is why they put a model/serial number tag on the dryer.

Take a look at the model number on that tag and post it for us so we can look it up.

Sears/Kenmore does not make there own appliances so your dryer is one of many different types that they sell. Standard it is not. :)

This will depend on the area you live in and what they charge for a service call, mileage and labor.

If your going to repair it yourself we can help you diagnose the problem and then give you the part numbers for any parts you need.

1) Check & re-set the house circuit breakers

2) Check & inspect the wires on the Terminal Strip on the back of the Dryer.

3) Check/inspect/tighten the Nuts on the Terminal Strip.

4) Check the voltage from each outer Terminal to center (120v)

5) Check the voltage across the outer terminals (240v).
