LG Dryer Problem
(1/1)
daved:
New user here. I have a problem with my LG DLE3777W electric dryer. The display lights up, but nothing else happens. I can here a switch in the upper left corner of the dryer when I push start.
I ran the diagnotics from the user manual. This is what I get:
18:F1 / UO1
236
17
17
236 - display goes off
I'm a novice with this kind of stuff, so I'm having difficulty understanding the manual.
thanks,
Dave

18:F1 > = you have model DLE3777W
If door not closed or bad switch = Drum motor will not operate. Display will flash at 0.5 second intervals
here is the service manual
check page 20 "Diagnostic Test"

Check it out dude, I bet that high limit mounted near the heater unit has blown. here is the part:http://www.repairclinic.com/SmartSearch/SSPartDetail.aspx?PartID=1268364&PPStack=1
I would blow out the dryer real good and check the plastic blower wheel for stripped out center post.
