Hi gotanybob,

Could you post the model number for us?
70 series is not a model number.

There should be a model/serial number tag on the appliance were you can find the full model number.

Is this a washer, dishwasher or what?

Thanks,

I checked the model number at the sears site and it's a good model number.

OK let me get this out of my system right now. Sears went from a wonderful site to look up parts to a suck ass site. This one looks a little different. So i will try it again and let you know. I am going in boys....

The sears site locked down adblocker on Mozilla firefox so I had to dig out internet explorer to get the damn thang to work. I wrote in pump to see what type it took . It takes the 3363394 standard direct drive pump. If I was you I would remove the case and inspect the pump for a thong or a baby sock. Something must be in it binding the machinery. I have an appliancejunk exclusive link that shows how to access the innards so that you can inspect the pump. It concerns replacement of the motor coupler but you have to move the pump to do that and this one shows how.

Other things that can cause this problem are start capacitor, bad motor or faulty timer.
