No put the two white parts on first one on the motor the other on the transmission making sure they are both flush with the shaft. Align the one on the transmission with one prong at 12 o'clock, on the motor put the rubber part over the 3 prongs and align one of the empty holes at 12 o'clock. When mounting the motor look at the rubber pads to line up to the holes in the tranny mounting surface. When you make contact with the coupling wiggle the motor a little side to side and you should feel the prongs slip in and the rubber feet mesh with the mounts. The clips should go on without too much force if you did it right.
