Dishwasher only works in HEAVY Wash Mode

Dishwasher suddenly stopped working in all modes except for HEAVY.  Delay no longer works.  Everything on Touch pad from Normal on down does not work.  Everything above normal does work.  

I don't think it's the touch pad, because if I lock the keypad and then push "normal" the LED blinks, so the control circuit obviously recognizes that I am pushing the buttons.  

I ran diagnostics but cannot figure out how to use that to determine what the problem might be.  

I am leaning towards a new control module- does anyone else have input / ideas?

If it only works in one mode most of the time that is the control which is probably the most expensive part of the DW.
