kenmore 80 series

it leaks water from the cold side only.even off and unplugged,stops when u turn cold supply off. anyone experience this.  thanks in advance.

You will need to replace the water inlet valve, part # 285805.

Remove 2 screws from the right and left sides of the control console.
Lay the console to the rear.
Remove 2 clips from the cabinet top right and left. Unplug the lid switch. Pull the cabinet base to the front and off the base support. Access the water valve on the rear.
Take a Kid fishing.
