The unit went dead overnight. No power or lights. My lights came on 5 days later but the unit would not work. Lights went off again.  Cannot run system test. I replaced the main board but still no lights or power. Checked power hookup and all looks good. Thinking of changing out front touch pad but it s getting expensive. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

Check the wire connection where the cord connects..

This is the tall-tub model...

Take off the inner door panel and look carefully at the wiring harness where it goes down to the lower section. It will be pressed under a plastc retainer and goes under some foam insuation to the lower compartment.
I have had cases of broken wires there and the recommended fix is a new wiring harness, part # 99002986

I had looked at the power connection ( It's hard wired)The ground was fine and no wires were burnt (I didn't take off the wire caps) . I checked the wire harness in the door where it enters the plastic clip, the wires look fine. It is a tall tub. I appreciate all of your help in trouble shooting this dishwasher. I'll  keep looking. Let me know if you think of something I am missing. Thanks again.

Ok, so if you did not take off the wire nuts, how do you know you have 120 volts to the unit???

The other likelihood is a failed door switch assembly, part # W10130695

You do have a meter, right?

Tested the power, looks good. I'm thinking touchpad or door switch.

You don't "think" a part is bad...you check it for continuity or for power going to it. "Thinking" can get you a lot of wasted parts

The touch pad is only a set of switches, easily checked with your OHM meter as long as you read the manual to show you which terminals to check. The door switches are also a simple switch, one for L1 the other for Neutral.
