GE frontload washer says "door locked" and won't cycle.

Our front-loader washer has had trouble in the past when the filter gets clogged or the washer is overloaded. I've cleaned the filter but I can't get the controls to "reset". When I turn the power on it says "door locked" but it is not locked. When I try to start a cycle, it clicks like it is trying to lock and the "door locked" sign turns off temporarily but the cycle does not start.
Any ideas? I can hear the pump running when I try to start the cycle too.

You should find a tech sheet inside the upper cabinet area after removing the top panel. You can also download the service manual to see how everthing works.
