Whirlpool gas cooktop

Hi all,
I just wonder if a small burner (low BTU) on the cooktop can be replaced by a large burner (high BTU) ?If yes, what part need to be replaced ?

All burners produce the same amount of btu's on a gas range.

Not any more,they have some with 5 different BTU ratings on 1 range. Fun when converting to LP gas.
