Door wouldn't lock replaced died after three loads.

Ok, have been surfin boards on this for two days now and finally going to beg for help....

Door lock on Affinity frigidaire just wouldnt lock Monday.  Read through boards ordered door lock and replaced this am.  Had an error code of EbF before but thought would try the door anyways.  Worked for three loads now same thing and same error.  Replace the control console is the recommended fix for this.  

Any thoughts on this?  Seems everyone has the same issue but didnt see any resolve to it in the forums.  

Also can anyone tell me where the control board is and how to remove it.  The door latch was easy but dont see anything on the control.

Also wont let me run the diagnostic because door wont lock to spin cycle, shows just the EbF code.  Which control board is that wanting to replace?  The front one or the speed control>/?
