Kenmore Elite Oasis HE Washer - oL code

My washer is stopping at the point of agitation with an error code of oL, which normally means overload.   the machine is not overloaded and it stops every clycle with the error code.   I had a tech look at it and he believes that it is a problem with the floating tub mechanism.   However, the tech indicated that he had not seen one of these before (? - the washer is almost 3 years old) and that he believes that they will have to rebuild the tub assembly.   Can anyone provide any insight as to whether this tech is headed down the right direction or whether I should look elsewhere?

The Kenmore Oasis is the same machine as the Whirlpool Cabrio, FYI> The oL code means the motor control board is struggling to power the motor up. Usually this means a new motor control. If it were a problem with the tub floating up, the unit would spin instead of nutate.  I am attaching the Tech Sheet below so you can run some of the diagnostic codes that your inept repairman did not:
