Compressor staying hot to touch, Frigde never stops running?

Hey All,

I dont have a model number but it is a side by side KitchenAid. I bought this second hand.

Well the problem is, The fridge stays running constantly and the compressor is very hot to the touch. The picture below is to show the air flow from the fan, It is blowing away from the compressor. Now shouldnt that be blowing towards the compressor?

Any help would be appreciated, I would hate for the compressor to blow and be out of some money if it is an easy fix.

I think I got it, The back wasnt on very well therefor not allowing air to escape out the front and over the coils. Plus they were dirty as all heck.

Actually the back cover must be in place to assure that the air is drawn in from the condenser side, passed over the compressor, then discharged over the condensate pan to allow it to dry out.  When the back cover is off, airflow gets lost and the pan can stay full of sludgy water from every defrost cycle.
