Fisher and Paykel No spin, drain, or lock
« on: July 03, 2012, 11:41:16 PM »
I'm working on my first Fisher and Paykel model# GWL11 96151.  It doesn't spin, drain, and the lid doesn't lock.  It will fill and agitate, but when it gets to the spin cycle it doesn't do anything.  I tried to put it in automatic diagnostic mode, but I get nothing.  The lid lock light is red, but it kind of pulsates as if there's a short some where.  Any suggestions where to start?  My first thought is either the lid lock or the board is bad.

I was taking some vacation this week so I didn't get back to it.  I'm having trouble finding the parts at my suppliers.  Where do you normally get your FisherPaykel parts?  I know Sears parts direct have them, but I don't want to pay retail.  Last resort will be eBay.

I have never had to order parts for a F&P, never worked on one.
Just searched my local parts place online for model GWL11-96151 and could not find anything. Search our affiliates sites and sears. Sears was the only place I found anything for your model.
Hope you find our site helpful.

I have never had to order parts or use them so can't vouch but here is what I have.  I don't see your model listed but might be worth an email.
