SECD272 Thermador Dual Convection Oven Light Problem

This is a dual convection (over/under) setup, and is not quite 2 years old. The bulbs (12v Halogen G4 Base) in the lower oven won't go on. I removed the old bulbs (using surgical gloves) and tested them for continuity and they show up as OK.

I also checked the door switch and it shows current at the two slide-on metal crimps, and the switch checks out OK on the continuity as well, so I know it opens/closes. I even bought two new bulbs and carefully installed them... still no light.

Any ideas or should I just call the local repair guys? The upper oven lights up just fine.
