You have to remove the clutch from the motor it goes through the shaft the clutch mounts on top of it.

to remove clip do i just prythat off or with a hammer and screw drive hit the back until it popa off

You lift the top of it and then pry it off dont damage the shaft or you'll never get the clutch off.

wha do you meen lift the top is this clip located in front were the belt is n the bottom of the shaft, correct?

Yes its U shaped with 1 side going over the top of the shaft that side has a little indent that helps keep it in place so you've got to lift it to get it to clear the shaft.
