Hi all,
I brought a Neptune washer/dryer combo about 2 years ago, and had nothing but problems with both the washer and the dryer. My current problem is with the dryer and I hope someone here may be able to help me before I spend another $100 on a service call.
The dryer will not start. The front panel LED will light up, the chime works, but the dryer will not run. When you try to start it, you can hear the relay closing and opening, but no go. I checked the error codes and there was an error code 10 appearing which is defined as "No Wet Clothes", the trigger is "Sensor bar detects no wet clothes in sensor dry cycle" and the action to be taken is "Check for: running dryer with no wet clothes in sensor dry cycle".
So it appears there is something wrong with the sensor bar, right? I cleared the code, and tried to turn it on with a cycle that does not use the sensor bar, and it still doesn't work.
I am at a loss here. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be - other than an outright motor failure? IS there a circuit breaker or fuse somewhere on the machine that might have blown?
Thanks a million!!!
