growling/vibrating noise GE Profile dishwasher

My GE Profile dishwasher, PDW7800J01BB (4 1/2 years old) has suddenly started making a growling noise.  nothing is blocking anything.  it started out just making the noise for a few seconds now it's throughout the entire cycle.  It doesn't matter what cycle I am using it makes this noise.  could it be the motor?

I have read something similar to this and the problem was the tube that carries the water to the wash arm under the top rack. It made the noise during the wash/rinse and the solution was to take a zip tie and put around the tube and then around the rack to stabilize the tube so it wouldn't vibrate. You might even try using a bread tie just to see if it would solve your problem, then if that isn't it that would be easier to remove than the zip tie. It is worth a try.

A lot of times noises from dishwashers is just something caught in the chopper that doesn't want to be chopped like a piece of glass, toothpicks or twist ties. I would remove the motor and inspect the condition of the chopper.

That growl could be a noisy dump flap solenoid. Does it do it the entire time or just when draining?

let me get this ... This is the feeder tube to the middle spray arm under the top rack ?

Yes there is. It sent vibrations through the entire unit. I though it was the impeller so I replaced it and still had the same issue. Zip tied the feeder tube to the bottom of the upper rack and all is well. I think it may be due to the single bracket located at the back of the upper rack getting warped due to the heat. This is speculation of course. I put zip ties in the front, middle and rear of the feeder tube.

If you are hearing that "growling" noise check the tube on the back of the dishwasher that feeds water to the middle spray arm.  If you see a groove but no o-ring, trying putting a 5/8" ID o-ring on there and see if that gets rid of the noise.  I installed that on a dishwasher over the weekend and not only is it quiet again but it also seems to be doing a better job of cleaning the dishes.
