Thanks for your help JW,and Repairman. It spins now but i also have a creaking noise when it's in spin cycle sometimes and it was there before my wife said but it is louder now. It sounds like the area I was replacing the thrust kit. What do you think ?

Take the belt off and turn the pump by hand. If it feels stiff or has a portion of the bearing showing that may be what you is hearing.

I tested the belt pulleys and they all moved freely, but I heard no noise turning them with or without the belt connecting them. It seems that it is coming from the thrust spring or hub area, but i don't know why ? :-\

The squeal at the end of the spin cycle is normal on all Performa and Atlantis machines. What makes the sound is a very clean, shiny brake stator coming into contact with the brake rotor. Much like a car, the brakes tend to squeal after a few years. Unless you want to invest in some pretty expensive tools, don't worry about the noise...it will not affect the machine.

The solution to fixing this noise involves dropping the thrust bearing and brake assembly and simply sanding the shine off the  stator. No big deal, unless you don't have the tool.

go ahead JW, you're obviously on a roll...

yeah, squirt some lubricant in there so the brake will slip and spin the tub during agitation. What a concept.
