bosch convection oven

I replaced an open round convection element in a bosch oven and it still does not come on. the other elements and the conv fan works. Is there something in between the control relay and the round conv. element??

When u press convection bake is it supose to turn on Immediately? or not turn till oven is pre-heated??? is it supose to cycle on and off?? r there any bosch experts out threre??

Never seen a Bosch anything....lol....but take a look at the wiring diagram to see what feeds the convection element and when, but from what I have read in the tech forums you are supposed to preheat the oven using the regular elements, when it is preheated go to convection, then that element then comes on and cycles to maintain the heat....see if this works or not?
