If the dryer is working, don't worry about it. Of course there will be a difference in air flow with the filter inserted, it's not something you pay attention to unless there's a problem.

What, you never held your hand over the end of a vacuum cleaner hose and listened to the motor change?


Maybe there's a reason the instructions say to clean the filter "before" each use, not during it. :)
