Estate dryer won't start

Just replace the start switch and still no result.  Won't start!  The timer ticks when on a timer setting.  Any ideas?

Most of the time it is the fuse. Did you remove the back panel and check the fuse?

Yup!  That was it!

Saw your post for a Whirlpool dryer about the fuse and so I tried that and now we're drying again!

Make sure your vent and filter housing stays clean or you will be replacing these fuses often. Glad you could get er done!

If the fuse blows again, check the lint chute like JW said, but also remove
the heater and check to see if the element isn't welded to the heater case.
The insulators mysteriously become loose and release the element to expand
and short out against the housing. It is strange but the upper heater chute
will get very hot with very little heat at the element thus bypassing the
limit switch and thermal fuse on the heat side, but the load takes out the
shut it down fuse.
