Maytag washer not spin

Maytag washer does not spin. No problem in draining. Motor is working. Burning smell at the time of spin session. Can a novice fix it?

I think the model is A613.
It is Maytag Heavy Duty 2 speed, extra capacity.

Check and or replace your drive belt and pump belt.
Check the drain pump for obstructions.

To replace drive belt and pump belt, do I have to dissemble either front panel or the top?
Or lay the machine on its side and work on it? Bear with my questions. I tried to find a repair manual for the machine, but I couldn't because I could not find the name of the model except for the A130.

To replace the belts just tip the washer back just enough to look under it. You may need someone to help hold the washer back as you look under it or rest it on a chair.

The old belts will just roll off the pulleys and the new belts will roll right back on. No tools needed.
