kenmore Elite Dryer will not start

The dryer has power to it.  The drum light comes on.  When you turn the selector to any cycle and push start, it just clicks and does nothing.  Could this be a fuse?  The lady I got it from, said that the repair tech told her she needed a new drum.  The drum spins just fine by hand.

Could be a bad thermal fuse on the exhaust vent.
Could be a bad door switch.
Could be a broken belt.
Verify 220 volts to the terminal block, check the wires there, then proceed to the other parts.

Door Switch good Thermal fuse good Voltage on term blocks good.  Could it be the start switch?  I am having a crazy time getting into the control panel.  The clicking comes from the start switch.

how's the Belt (& Belt Switch) ?

Belt is in great shape.  The drum moves freely with no issues by hand.  Belt Switch, I ve looked it up and do not find a picture of it in any parts section.  But if the drum moves freely by hand with the belt intact, then would there be an issue with the belt switch.  The clicking sound comes from the control panel.  I cannot get the panel open.  How do I open this without tearing it up.  Also have looked for a repair manual but none are exact for this model.  Thanks
