Whirlpool estate washer spins slow

Hi,
I have a estate washer made by whirlpool model # TAWS700RQ1. When it goes to spin it spins slow and leaves the clothes dripping wet. I tried it without clothes in the tub and it spins faster. I do not smell anything burning, I have checked for oil under it and there is no oil leaking no loud noises. Everything else on the washer works great, washes, fills, drains, it just doesn't spin fast enough. Can anyone please HELP me.
