frigidaire double wall oven

 "Top oven" baking element does not heat up, the display shows the temperature rising , and the element is fine. Does someone have any info on how to get these apart, let alone what to look for to diagnose the problem? I will try and get the model number.

What we normally do in this case is look for 240 volts at the bake element when the clock says it is heating. If this voltage is not present, we know the control or the high-limit thermostat is at fault. Your oven has a wiring diagram in the console for reference, or you can seelct from the plethora of service manuals here to assist you in your diagnosis.
