Sadly enough I am fully invested in WHR, ever since Maytag converted their stock over in 2006. Lost a large portion of my booty last year  >:(

As to would I invest now? Hell, yes! It may not be this low for  some time, and if you have the extra cash go for it.

It would be cool to own some stock whirlpool.

As a technician looking to invest myself I have to wonder what other stock my fellow technicians invest in.

What other stocks you guy's have?

STFC They have a branch office in town.

That's it for me, but I'm really considering buying some whirlpool stock next week.

I have been searching for other appliance manufactures in the stock markets, but have not had much luck.

There seems to be a lot of different LG stock option, as to what one of them manufactures appliances I'm just not sure.

Seems Frigidaire/Electrolux does not have stock.

You can buy them online at places like sharebuilder.com

Or from a local broker.

Whirlpool also has a Direct Stock Purchase Plans or DRIPS.

Could be, but I'm not waiting to see. I'm going to watch them the rest of this week and see what happens to there price.

No matter if they go up or down I'm going to purchase some and will do so next week.

$26.09 -2.84 (-9.82%)

It amazes me that I could buy shares of Whirlpool for so little.

Hmm, spend $500 on that new whirlpool dishwasher that we don't need, but the wife wants or take that $500 and buy 18 shares of Whirlpool? :)

I know what I want to do, but the wife may have different idea's.. lol..

Shares of Whirlpool Corp. traded to the downside for the majority of Thursday's session and closed lower by $2.78 at $26.15 on above average volume. The stock has been losing ground for over a week and closed at its third consecutive new low for the year.
