Second Floor Washer Front Loader

Alot of places are more selling then facts and I would like to know more facts, we live on a second floor apartment. Ive done alot of research and front loader washers/dryers are no no's for second floors, however it seems Samsung has "special" thing called "Vibration Reduction Technology". So after reading about it and knowing how whats said and whats real world. I have to wonder is it as they claim and how much vibration does it have (of course I expect some)?  Ive seen a few people talk about it but they havent been in my situation on a second floor apartment. Samsung claims its ok for second floors but this is a apartment where noise and things will be alot more sensitive.

So I need a "non-sales" view of this situation. I would appreciate any info you all could give me. Like I said I have read alot but its like missing the deep facts. Thanks!

I live on the third floor with a Maytag Neptune front load. My neighbor on the second floor over my first floor studio also has a front load washer not sure of the brand. I think they may make a bit more noise but it is not a real issue. I did ses some floor noise isolators at the appliance parts store, they were 4x4x1 inch thick black dense sponge/rubber kind of like a hockey puck, maybe not quite as hard, they recomended then for under your front load washer, maybe something to think about.

depends on the building (floor) construction

check the other tenants in your building (or similar building) to see what machines they have and if they vibrate, etc...

it all defends on the floor, i do samsung warranty and i've seen em bounce on weak floors, seen others work fine on wood floors so its a possibility but not guaranteed

and samsung is a PITA to get parts from

Pretty much all of them claim to be ok on second floor these days, but a lot depends on how well the floor is braced.  I would not do it in my home due to the noise.  We have a small 'all-in-one' washer dryer combo on the second floor and with a spin speed of 800 rpm it is bad enough.
