Fisher & Paykel DEGX2 drum(?) noise

I have a 2 year old just out of warranty by 2 months (ain't it always the way!) Fisher & Paykel dryer that has started making a low whining noise. It is not like a squeak, but more like an off whirling airplane propeller noise. Could this be a bearing like I have read on the previous DEGX1 or something else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, John
