I am thinking of purchasing

It is the all in one LG WM3988HWA washer and dryer.  The dryer is ventless which is why I am thinking of this purchase.  Adding space in a small laundry room would be an added plus.  Any thoughts pro and con will be welcomed.

Have you read some of the blogs concerning  ventless dryers?

They require more attention than a normal machine and do not dry as quickly. What you make up for in space you will spend dearly on energy use. I'm not saying LG is necessarily a bad brand, but finding servicers and parts for them can still be a challenge. Having a washer and dryer in the same cabinet means that if one fails, you can't do any laundry, whereas having them separate gives you options in case one goes down..

and a complete wash/dry load may take a few hours,
and you can't start another wash load until the drying is done ...

combo units mean more in repairs, you would never spend 400 dollars to fix the dryer you have now, but if your dryer in a combo needs 400 dollars you have to pay for the repair or throw away the washer too

the LG ventless tend to plug up alot, so after the 2+ hours you would normally wait to dry one load, you come to find all the clothes still wet, and as reg pointed out, in that 2 or so hours you havn't even washed one more sheet that you could hang to dry
